The Blind Tiger Comedy Club features the best Stand Up Comedians in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. We are not a traditional comedy club, but more an organization of like minded comics coming together to better our acts and develop as professionals. We perform every Friday Night for the Midnight Cereal Showcase. It’s brash, fast paced, and just one year in, we’ve already started making a name for ourselves on the National scene.

Comedians from all over the country have come to work our room. Many of which, have been seen on Comedy Central, HBO, and NBC. The owner of Stand Up! Records (Patton Oswalt, David Cross, Kyle Kinane) has flown down specifically to judge our talent.

We use a Showcase format popular in NYC and LA. This format, coupled with the small capacity of our showroom (less than 70 people) makes the Blind Tiger an intimate and powerful experience.

The name Blind Tiger itself, originates from the Prohibition era and was synonymous with the Speakeasies of that time. In that spirit our stage is located in a small, underground room inside the historic Magic Time Machine Restaurant. When you go inside, look for the semi-hidden door by the main bar. Behind that door lies a secret staircase leading you to some of the funniest and most fearless performers working in Stand Up today.

You can also find them regularly working the Laugh Out Loud and Rivercenter Comedy Clubs, performing at festivals like SXSW and Fun Fun Fun Fest, or touring all over the country.
